Wikipedia defines Digital Literacy as the ability to locate, organize, understand, evaluate, and analyze information using digital technology. It involves a working knowledge of current technology and an understanding of how it can be used.
As educators, our foremost goal is to prepare learners for their future. The problem learners face in the new digital world is no longer access to information, but rather how to deal with the glut of content that surrounds them.
Our Digital Literacy program includes:
ISTE Standards, Digital Citizenship, Google Apps for Education, Blended Learning, and Creating and Designing in a Maker Space environment using STREAM principals.
