Monarch Main Event

What is Monarch Main Event?
Each year, the St. Edward Parish School community comes together for an evening of fellowship, dining, dancing and fundraising at the annual Monarch Main Event (MME).  MME fundraises for a specific program or project each year. Over the years, the programs that have benefitted from the annual gala include tuition assistance, technology enhancements, campus security upgrades, performing arts, the purchase of a kiln, and the playground shade awnings. Over the past seven years, MME has raised more than $1 million for St. Edward Parish School. On average, the event raises $150,000 per year.
Long before MME begins, parent volunteers invest many hours of their time to make it a success. Volunteers coordinate all aspects of planning the event, including seeking donations for auction items.  The volunteer committee typically consists of 20-25 wonderful volunteers!

2021 Monarch Main Event - Saturday, April 24, 2021

While we do not yet know what this year’s Monarch Main Event will entail, we do know that something will take place on Saturday, April 24th.  Our hope is that we will be able to gather in person for a casual event and celebrate with our community. We will follow all COVID related restrictions and plan accordingly.

However, we are moving forward with our virtual silent auction! We are looking for volunteers to help with this year’s auction.  If you would like to help, there will be an information meeting on Tuesday, 12/8 from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. Please consider volunteering – it is a fun way to be involved with our school this year! Please RSVP for the information meeting to
