PAL Swim Meet
The Parochial Athletic League "all comers" swim meet will take place on May 20, starting at 9am at Santa Margarita HS. Warmup time is to be announced.
The St. Edward Athletic Department will pay the entry fee for any Monarch athlete that wants to participate in the swim meet. We understand that this event coincides with the PAL track meet on the same day.
Rules for first through fourth grades:
- We will be swimming the events “mixed” – boys and girls together
- These swimmers MUST be able to already compete at a length of 50 yards. Last year several tried to get out at the 25 (one length) and realized they needed to swim back
Students grades one through eight can choose three events from those listed below:
- 50 free
- 50 breast
- 50 fly
- 50 back
- 100 IM
