St. Edward boys' lacrosse program.
Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports and most local high schools have JV and Varsity teams that carry 22-25 players per team. Thus, players have a higher probability of making their high school team. Getting a head start will set your son up for better success in high school.
Because lacrosse requires an upfront investment in personal equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, gloves, stick, etc), Coach Straub wanted to offer a free clinic that will require no equipment (11/7/18). In this clinic, the boys will learn the fundamental skills required to play lacrosse (passing, catching, scooping, cradling). In this manner, each player can decide whether they have enough aptitude and interest in the sport to ask their parents to make the investment in equipment ($300-$400 per player) prior to the tryouts that will occur the week of (11/26)
