Dear Fourth Grade Families,
Welcome to our Fourth Grade 2019-2020 school year! I am very grateful to be apart of the Fourth Grade team this year teaching Religion, Social Studies, Cursive, and Fundations.
This is my second year teaching at St. Edward the Confessor Parish School. I graduated from the University of Portland with my degree in Elementary Education and my Oregon teaching license. Having grown up in Huntington Beach, I knew I always wanted to come home after all the Pacific Northwest rain. From Kindergarten through 8th grade I attended St. Bonaventure School and then continued on to Mater Dei High School. I am a proud alumna of MD and teach there over the summer. I truly appreciate and value my Catholic education in the Diocese of Orange.
I look forward to getting to know each of my learners and to grow as an educator at The Parish School. I am excited to see the growth that learners will develop in their own personal faith life, our journey through California history, and strengthen different phonics skills. Fourth graders will take their learning outside of the classroom and have multiple opportunities to attend field trips related to our curriculum.
I am very grateful for the opportunity to be here at The Parish School and look forward to building valuable relationships with all my learners and their families. It is going to be a great year!
