Welcome to Fourth Grade ELA!

 

I am thrilled to partner with Mrs. Karen Silva this year. We share a passion for teaching and inspiring students to love reading and writing!

 

As a child I wrestled with reading, it was a chore for me to read. It wasn't until after college that I learned to love reading.  As a teacher and a mother of four, it has been my passion to help children connect with good literature. We have such a wonderful opportunity to assist learners in finding authors and genres that inspire them, and make them want to read more! We hope that you will join us on this journey this year! Read to your child, make it a goal to read aloud one chapter book this year! You will be amazed at how much you both love it!
