My name is Jessica Olson and I am thrilled to be joining the St. Edward community as the 4th grade ELA teacher. I was born and raised in Orange County and am a product of Catholic education, attending Catholic elementary school (St. Francis of Assisi) and high school (Rosary Academy) before graduating from the University of Notre Dame with both a B.A. and M.Ed. I was a member of Notre Dame's Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) Teaching Fellows program and continue to spend my summers working as an Assistant Clinical Professor for the ACE elementary graduate courses. I have experience teaching 4th and 5th grade in the Diocese of San Jose, CA and in the Diocese of Brownsville, TX. I am excited to share my love of reading and writing with the 4th graders and partner with families to support each child on their education journey.
