Curriculum Vitae

I am Mrs. Donna Rafael and I  love St. Edwards Parish School and feel so lucky and blessed to be a part of this great school. I graduated ions ago from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in Political Science. I have been married for 37 years and have three children, all graduates of St. Edwards! While fulfilling my volunteer hours as a “mom” it dawned on me how much I love children and school. So, to make a long story short,  sixteen years ago I went back to school and earned a Clear Teaching Credential with CLAD certification  and a Masters of Arts in Education. I also hold a California Lay Ecclesial Ministry Certificate from the Diocese of Orange. The rest is history! St. Edwards was the only school for me especially when I saw the great foundation that my own children received not only with regards to their religion but with academics too. Go Monarchs!

I currently teach 8th Grade Religion and History, two of my favorite subjects! 

When I am not at school, I enjoy  spending time with my family, relaxing in the sun while reading a good book and I love to travel!
