A. Election Speeches
1. Candidates will prepare a written speech giving merits of their candidacy
2. A written copy of the speech will be submitted for approval by Friday May 4th
3. Speeches may be submitted to the Welcome center or to Mrs. Vachon directly.
4. Speeches will be given live in the gym/MPR in front of the 3rd through 7th grade student body
5. Speeches may not be longer than 1 minute per person. Any speech over the 1 minute mark will be cut short.
6. Mass uniform should be worn; costumes may be worn in lieu of Mass uniform.
7. Students running as a pair for Event Commissioners and Faith Commissioners may give their speeches together totaling no more than 2 minutes for each pair.
8. No items may be handed out during the speech including but not limited to fliers, candy, pencils, and buttons.
