Course Description:
The objective of this class will be threefold:
- The students will review colonization and the American Revolution. They will learn about the U.S. Constitution, the founding of our New Nation, the development of America’s Regions, the Civil War and Reconstruction, the Industrial Revolution, and the growth of Modern Democracy.
- The students will learn about current issues affecting our world and how many of these issues are in some way connected with our past.
- The students will learn how to work in cooperative groups by studying, doing projects, and completing and presenting assignments together, as an integrated group.
