New prayer that 2nd grade added to their notebooks.  Please practice at home.

The Lord's Prayer

Padre nuestro que estás en el  cielo

Santificado sea tu Nombre

Venga tu reino

Hágase tu voluntad

En la tierra como en el cielo

Danos hoy nuestro pan de cada día

y perdona nuestras ofensas

Amen.

Assignment

2nd grade loves to sing!  We are revisiting Los pollitos dicen (btw, Spanish titles are only capitalized in first word) and are currently translating words in our interactive notebooks.  There are variations to the song if you search online. See lyrics below:

The little chicks say peep, peep, peep
when they are hungry, when they are cold.
The mother hen looks for corn and wheat.
She gives them food, and provides them shelter.
Under mama’s wings, huddling up,
sleep the little chicks until the next day.
