Dear 4th Grade Families, 

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! Our year will be full of lots of learning, prayer, teamwork, and fun together. I am very grateful to be part of the fourth grade team, and I am eager to teach your child Religion and Social Studies this year. In Social Studies, we will dive deep into the history of California and in Religion, we will learn 3 new prayers and so much more!

This will be my seventh year teaching at St. Edward the Confessor Parish School. I am a firm believer in Catholic education, and I am very grateful for the opportunity I had to attend Catholic schools myself. I grew up in Huntington Beach and attended St. Bonaventure School. From SBS, I continued on to Mater Dei High School. Go Monarchs! I graduated from the University of Portland with my degree in Elementary Education. Having grown up in Huntington Beach, I knew I always wanted to come home after all the Pacific Northwest rain. I am so happy to be here close to my family and friends! 

I look forward to learning with a new group of Fourth Graders and I am eager to collaborate with you in your child’s education. Let us remember our school’s theme for the year, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” We will have a great year together!
