Red Ribbon Week is an annual catalyst to show intolerance for drugs in our schools, workplaces, and communities. Each year, on October 23-31, more than 80 million young people and adults show their commitment to a healthy, drug-free lifestyle by wearing or displaying the red ribbon.
Below are the list of activities student council has planned for the week:
- Monday, 10/27 – Red bracelets will be passed out to students during homeroom
- Tuesday, 10/28 - Drug Free Pledge on MTV. Cards will be made for local law enforcement
- Wednesday, 10/29
- Red Out - – wear as much red as you can
- Special law enforcement visit
- In order to accommodate the police vehicles, please do not arrive for 1st carline pick-up until 2:45pm
- Thursday, 10/30 - Find Red Ribbon at lunch - a large ribbon will be hidden at each lunch – free dress passes for the lucky winners who find the ribbon turn it in!
- Friday, 10/31 - Halloween parents, please join us for the parade!
