Kinder continues work on mini book Los opuestos (opposites) with the comparisons to mamá and bebé using the book  ¿El canguro tiene mamá? by Eric Carle.  You can find familiar titles at the library in the Spanish picture book section.  See photo for cover and first page of book.

Learners are working on a book of opuestos (opposites) which includes grande and pequeño.  See attachment for free download that I found on Spanish Playground's site.  There are many more printables, lessons, and videos on the site to further Spanish practice.

Following up on our singing practice of Los pollitos, kinder is singing a farm animal song called La granja.  We're listening to animal sounds from the attached site (without looking at pictures) and deciding which animal it is.  Sometimes animals make different sounds in Spanish. KInders are working on the Spanish alphabet at school.  See attached phonetic alphabet for pronunciation.
