Please complete both sides of the the handout from class today. The front is p. 14 "En la Clase" the back is p. 17 "Los Lápices y Las Plumas.  Read the directions carefully and do what they say.  This is due at the beginning of your next class. Remember, we are working on practicing outside of class, completing tasks on time, and coming to class prepared this trimester. There is also a quizlet link up for extra practice! 

Practice quizlet link Cosas de la Escuela. Consider making your own flashcards, foldable thingy, picture dictionary or whatever study tool you've discovered to help you learn. Study a little bit everyday!

B) A picture or drawing of each item

C) A label in Spanish.  

Each meal must have different items. No repeats.

Tuesday- Quiz today in class. Homework- read "qué tal" magazine.  Make a T chart. On one side write words that you know. On the other side find words that you don't know, list them and write meaning if possible.

All Upper School Spanish classes are collecting donations of simple school supplies: paper, pencils, pens,notebooks highlighters, folders etc.  All supplies will be donated to a Catholic boarding school in Mexico City "Internado San Juan Bosco."  It is a school for children from at risk families and is supported by The Order of Malta's Mexican Association. Donation Boxes will be located in room 223, Upper School Spanish, and in the Welcoming Center from October 5-8th.

Also, if you turned in a "Que Tal" magazine T chart, but do not see a grade, please check your binder or the "no name" tray in the Spanish classroom. Tuesday- Spanish is all around us in Southern CA! Write a list of as many Street names that you see that are in Spanish as you travel to and from school.  Then write the meaning. (try at least 5 but please gather more if possible)

example: calle la primavera= spring street.
