Reminder- Family Tree Presentations due at beginning of class this week. Students, please be sure that you have:
A) Visual Aid (poster or on ipad) B) Written or printed copy of 2 paragraphs of family members you are talking about in further detail. (this is separate from the visual aide itself)  C) the yellow Rubric page.
 
We will select the order of presentations as soon as students get to class.  Students will be given ~5 minutes to practice and organize materials.  Then we will promptly begin the presentations.  Parents are more than welcome to join!
 
Note for 6B students ONLY:  Presentations have been moved to Thursday at 2:05 in order to accommodate the "Career Day" special schedule on Wednesday morning.

DAY 1- A)  List as many cities or towns in CA that have a Spanish name. (must have at least 10, but may have more). Then write the meaning in English. You may consult a map, a family member and/or a Spanish/ English dictionary for help.

B) Answer the question:  Why is it useful to learn Spanish or any other foreign language?
Note: Remember to do the assignment on the same day it is assigned in your Spanish class and have it ready to turn in at the beginning of the period on the day of your next scheduled Spanish class.
