Bio

My name is Sarah Donovan and I am thrilled to be joining St. Edward’s wonderful second-grade team! With over 17 years of experience within the Diocese of Orange and as an alumna of Santa Margarita and Gonzaga University, I am deeply committed to Catholic education. I hold a California Clear Multiple Subject Credential with CLAD as well as certificates in Blended Learning Coaching and Gifted and Talented Education. Throughout my career, I have served as a K-8 Educator, Instructional Coach, Interim Director of Learning Support, Professional Development Facilitator, and Religion Department Chair. My dedication to the Catholic community extends beyond the classroom; I founded and led the MOPS ministry at Our Lady of Fatima and served with my husband as a presenting and leadership couple for Catholic Engaged Encounter for over a decade. Beyond the classroom, I enjoy exploring and hiking the National Parks with my family. I look forward to meeting 2nd grade families and students in August!
