Digital Literacy Program
Our goal is to provide every student a rigorous and relevant Digital Literacy curriculum. Wikipedia defines Digital Literacy as the ability to locate, organize, understand, evaluate, and analyze information using digital technology. It involves a working knowledge of current technology and an understanding of how it can be used.
As educators, our foremost goal is to prepare students for their future. The problem students face in the new digital world is no longer access to information, but rather how to deal with the glut of content that surrounds them.
Our Digital Literacy program includes:
ISTE Standards, Digital Citizenship, Blogging, Internet Search, Basic Coding, Robotics, Digital Storytelling, Keyboarding, Microsoft office, Google Apps, Creating and Designing in a Maker Space environment using STREAM principals.
