Emergency Dismissal Plans

In the event of an emergency, the school may need to dismiss students using a central outdoor reunification station. Only parents or adults on the family-approved pick up list will be allowed to pick up a student. A photo ID will be required to verify identity. Authorized persons are required to check in at the reunification table. Depending on the circumstance, once checked in at the reunification table, adults will either enter the building or remain outside to pick up their student(s).

 

Indoor Pick Up

  • Check in at reunification table.
  • Show valid photo ID.
  • Reunification staff will issue a clearance form to present to the homeroom teacher.
  • Report to homeroom classroom to pick up.
  • The clearance ticket must be presented to the homeroom teacher/staff in order for a student to be released.
  • Exit building through double doors, closest to the street.

 

Outdoor Pick Up

  • Check in at reunification table.
  • Show valid photo ID.
  • Reunification staff will issue a clearance form to present to the homeroom teacher.
  • Report to field, by way of the large black gate (by the turf).
  • Students will be seated by homeroom. The clearance form must be presented to the student’s teacher/staff.
  • Students will be wearing a school-issued lanyard. Faculty/staff must remove student lanyard prior to allowing the student to leave. This allows for accurate head counts of students picked up.
  • Exit the field area, by way of the push panel double doors, in the middle of the field.
