Valentine’s Day is coming soon! We will be celebrating in class on Monday, February 12th, because Ash Wednesday falls on Wednesday, the 14th. Learners are invited to bring valentines for their classmates. However, participation is optional. If you would like to participate, please bring in valentines for 17 Owls. Encouraging your learner to write their own name on each valentine is great writing practice.

Also, it is best to only write who the valentine is “from”, rather than “to.” This will make it easier when the Owls are delivering their valentines. We will be decorating valentine bags in class and will use them to collect our valentines during the class party.

   * Learners may wear free dress on Monday, February 12th

   * Sign Up Genius coming soon in case you would like to donate items for our classroom party. Thank you!

If you would like to visit other areas of the campus, please sign out your grandchild first, then you are free to explore. Some of the options are breakfast in the lunch area until 10:15, Photography Station in the Gym, Scholastic Book Fair in the Library, Makerspace Lab, Art Studio, Monarch TV Studio, Digital Literacy Lab, and the Music Room. Dismissal is 12:00 pm, or earlier.
