2019 Living Stations of the Cross
Dear Class of 2020 and Parents:
Mr. Dellefield, Ms. Clerx, Mrs. Progar, and I are happy to share our plans for the Living Stations of the Cross that we will re-enact this Lent. As our graduating class, you have the honor and blessing to be able to serve as cantors, readers, and as the Living Stations cast. We hope that you will consider participating in this prayerful reflection that affords our entire school community to reflect, pray, and prepare.
More information about the volunteer opportunities will come soon but we do anticipate needing help laundering, ironing, and preparing the various costumes, the costume fitting, and we also need parents to help at each performance dressing students in costumes.
Below, please find some pertinent dates and times, our list of roles, and general costume information. Our goal was to make this opportunity available to all learners. We intentionally avoided after school meeting times with the exception of one evening prayer opportunity to accommodate availability during school hours. We will rehearse with small groups so that we can work efficiently and avoid having learners out of class for extended periods of time. Our rehearsal schedule is tentative at this point, depending upon how quickly we are able to prepare our cast, readers, and cantors, we may reduce or cancel rehearsal times. We will also have an audio visual/sound support crew.
As an 8th grader, if you would like to be considered for the cast, reading team, audio-visual-sound crew, or cantor/chorister team, please complete the attached application and return it to my attention, via the Welcome Center, by Monday, February 7th at 3:00PM. We will announce roles by 3pm on Friday, February 10th via email.

Parent volunteers help make this prayerful and reflective re-enactment very special. We need lots of support behind the scenes with costumes and other support activities. A SignUp Genius will be available soon.
