Your STREAM donations at work:

“This year we have been fortunate enough to compliment our already fabulous STREAM program with a number of amazing resources. For instance, we were able to add six new microscopes to our science lab. The extra equipment gives our learners the opportunity to reach mastery level with this technology. I cannot tell you how gratified and proud it makes me to send our learners off to high school with this advanced knowledge and hands-on lab experience.” – Mrs. Regina Bork, Middle School STEM Teacher

Your Teacher Professional Development donations at work:

"Last year the Kindergarten team had a wonderful opportunity to attend a one-to-one Math in Focus training session.  We discussed differentiated instruction, developing math vocabulary, and the best way to utilize manipulatives within a math lesson.  The highlight of the day was being able to observe the trainer teach a Math in Focus lesson to some of our learners.  This training enabled us to implement the program successfully and to better prepare our learners for First Grade and beyond." - Mrs. Hunt, Kindergarten Teacher

“This past summer, I attended Columbia University to study and learn from reading & writing expert, Lucy Caulkins and her team of colleagues. The experience was exciting, challenging, and inspiring. During the weeklong institute, I had the opportunity to listen and learn from the top reading instructors and researchers in the country; the very same professionals who wrote the Reading and Writing Workshop curriculum I use in my classroom everyday. The institute not only reinforced and reignited my passion for teaching reading, but also provided me the invaluable opportunity to see the workshop through the eyes of my students. The experience was the most influential I’ve had in my 18 years of teaching.” – Mrs. Silva, Fourth Grade ELA Teacher
