Welcome to Physical Education Grades 6-8.

I grew up traveling throughout the world when my father was in the military, living for three years in the Philippine Islands.  I remember experiences in Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, England and Ireland as well as many of the Caribbean diving destinations.  I lived for two years near our nation’s capital and visited all the capital monuments, a fact that has stood with me in good stead as chaperone for our eighth-graders on their eastern historical field trip.

I graduated with my California Clear Teaching Credential and CLAD certification from the University of La Verne in 2000.  Prior to that, I attended Saddleback College where I graduated with an AA degree and attended the University of Oregon. My love for athletics led me to pursue coaching and teaching physical education.

My coaching experience includes five years as head coach for the University of La Verne Men’s Tennis Team, one year as the Girl’s Varsity Assistant Tennis Coach at El Toro High School, and three years as Athletic Director and Coach for all after-school sports at Immaculate Heart of Mary Elementary School in Santa Ana.  I am in my fourteenth year in this capacity at St. Edward and enjoy every minute of it.

I presently live in Lake Forest. I enjoy family, golfing, tennis and frisbee golf in my free time.
